COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police said they were called to the Diamond Shamrock in the 3100 block of Sinton Road Saturday around 6:30 p.m. after a suspect entered the store, showed a handgun, and demanded money.

Police said the suspect was a white man, 21-35 years of age, 6'2" with a thin build.

Witnesses said the suspect was wearing a black watchcap, a dark jacket and dark pants.

Police said the suspect was last seen heading westbound, on foot, on Sinton Road, after getting an undisclosed amount of cash.

Officers said they were on scene within three minutes of the call being placed, but they were unable to locate the suspect.
