COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs police officers are looking for two men who robbed a bank Wednesday in the city - the 12th bank robbery of 2011.
Police said two men wearing masks entered the American National Bank in the 1000 block of Garden of the Gods Road with handguns and ordered everybody to the floor.
The men robbed multiple tellers and left with an undisclosed amount of cash. Bank employees said the suspects were very aggressive, but nobody was hurt during the robbery.
Witnesses said the men are white or Hispanic and are in their 20s. They 5'5" - 5'8" with medium builds.
Robbery Unit detectives are currently investigating.
Nine of the first 11 robberies have been closed with arrests, but the two most recent ones from March 28 and April 5 are still open.
