STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, COLO. (AP) -- More delays are expected on U.S. Highway 40 between Steamboat Springs and Hayden as road crews clean up a rockslide that sent one man to the hospital.

Workers plan to remove the final chunk of the rock on Tuesday.

The Steamboat Springs Pilot & Today reported that the largest section of rock that fell was about 15 feet tall, 20 feet wide and 7 feet thick.

Two vehicles were passing by. A passenger in one was treated for moderate injuries and then released.

It was the third slide in the area this month. Crews have been performing rock scaling work there recently but the state transportation department says more substantial work isn't in the budget this year.

The state has set aside about $4 million for rock fall work, enough for three or four projects.
