COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs police are looking for a man they said robbed a Walgreens pharmacy around 9:37 p.m. Thursday.

According to police, the man was in the store on Chelton Road near Academy Boulevard for about a half hour before jumping through the pharmacy window. He pulled out a gun and demanded oxycodone from the clerk.

He fled north toward the Bally's Fitness Center after getting the prescription drugs.

Police tracked him to an area behind the fitness center, where they believe he left in a car.

The suspect is a black man in his 20s, about 6'2."  He wore a black jacket, black shirt, blue jeans and black shoes.

Witnesses in the store said the man was acting strange during the 30 minutes prior to the robbery. They said he was covering his face with a rag and wearing a wig.

Police are asking anyone who sees behavior like that, or anyone who may have information on this robbery to contact them.
