BOULDER, COLO. (AP) -- Crews have fully contained a wildfire that burned 622 acres on national forest land in the mountains west of Boulder and prompted the evacuation of more than 200 homes.

The fire started Friday and was spread quickly by strong winds.

Boulder County and federal officials said the fire was 100 percent contained Tuesday. Most of the people who left their homes returned Friday evening.

No homes were damaged.

A crew of 25 firefighters will stay to mop up hot spots and patrol the area. Officials say the fire was started by people, but they're still investigating how.

In northern Colorado, the U.S. Forest Service was fighting a 15-acre wildfire on a mountainside in the Poudre (POO'-dur) Canyon Tuesday. The fire was 75 percent contained by afternoon.
