COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs police arrested two men for allegedly robbing a Colorado Springs bank Tuesday morning.
Police arrested 28-year-old Gary Cyprian and 30-year-old Daryl Keener for their alleged involvement in robbing the Air Academy Credit Union in the 700 block of North Nevada Avenue around 10:30 a.m.
Bank employees said a Hispanic man about 5'3" with a thin build, a camouflage jacket and a backpack came into the bank with a gun and demanded money. His face was covered, and he left on foot.
Officers conducting an investigation and found two cars believed to be associated with the robbery. Police arrested the two men and charged them with aggravated robbery.
Police said they recovered the stolen cash. The investigation is ongoing.
