DENVER (AP) -- Colorado's law to prevent bullying in schools is getting a new look this year in the Legislature. A House committee plans to start work Monday on a bill revising anti-bullying guidelines for schools.

Schools would be required to have a dress code that "encourages school pride and unity." Schools would also face new reporting requirements for notifying authorities about bullying incidents.

And teachers would get training every other year on how to identify and deal with bullies in their schools.

The bill also sets up a voluntary statewide survey of schoolchildren about bullying in their schools.
