FORT CARSON, COLO. -- Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper is scheduled to meet with leaders at Fort Carson Thursday to discuss growth at the Mountain Post.
The meeting will also focus on the economic impacts of the Army post's expansion on neighboring communities.
Fort Carson is the second-largest employer in Colorado with an economic impact of nearly $2.5 billion.
While in the area, Hickenlooper also plans to meet with senior leaders at Peterson Air Force Base.
