COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Tickets are still available for Zonta of the Pikes Peak region's 5th annual Glass Slipper Ball.
The event will take place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Saturday February 5th, 2011 from 7 p.m. until midnight.
The fundraiser helps support Zonta's mission of advancing the status of women through education, advocacy, and hands-on service including human trafficking awareness, prevention of violence against women and monetary awards for continuing education.
This black tie optional event will attract over 400 guests, including Colorado Springs business owners, civic leaders and elected officials who will indulge in live music from dance band "Gentle Rain", dance demonstrations, silent auction items, mystery gifts and more.
The highlight of the evening is the luscious sampling of signature hors d'oeuvres and desserts created by 22 of the region's best chefs who are competing for the highly coveted "People's Choice" award.
FOX21 News morning anchor Kimberly Price will serve as emcee.
Tickets are $100 per person or $900 for a reserved table of ten.
