ELBERT, COLO. -- El Paso County sheriff's deputies arrested 23-year-old Jeremy Farr Wednesday in connection with several burglaries in the Cimarron Hills area Jan. 9.
Deputies carried out search warrants in the 1900 block of Mineola Court #D and the 800 block of Hathaway #D Wednesday after information came about during the investigation into several burglaries Jan. 9.
Deputies recovered several items that were reported stolen. One of the items, an urn, was also stolen but was not recovered Wednesday. The victims of the recovered stolen property have been notified.
Farr is facing charges which include two counts of motor vehicle theft, two counts of second degree burglary, possession of weapons by a previous offender, possession of schedule II and unlawful use of a financial tracking device.
Officials said the investigation into the stolen urn is ongoing. Bob Herrle's late wife's ashes were stolen as part of a series of burglaries on Delwood Drive in Elbert, Colo.
