STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, COLO. (AP) -- Colorado's mountains are getting more snow.

The snow began falling Sunday and it's expected to continue into Tuesday morning. The National Weather Service said accumulations of between 1 and 2 feet were expected above 9,000 feet.

The weather has shut down Loveland Pass forcing all hazardous load trucks to use the Eisenhower Tunnel along Interstate 70.

Trucks are being allowed through the tunnel at the top of every hour, causing regular traffic to back up.

Steamboat reported 4 inches of new snow by early Tuesday.

Weather forecaster Chris Cuoco told Steamboat Today that the storm could bring between 1 to 2 feet to Mount Werner and surrounding mountains. Between 6 and 10 inches was expected in town.
