COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs police are looking for a suspect after shots were reported fired outside the Heritage Apartments in the 1600 Block of N. Murray Boulevard .
Police responded to numerous calls from tenants just after 10 p.m. Wednesday who said they heard at least two gunshots.
Investigators said once on the scene officers discovered two .45 caliber shell casings outside one of the complex buildings.
Witnesses were able to give a name and description of a suspected man, and police are now searching for 23-year-old Antonio Pegues. He is considered armed and dangerous.
Investigators said Pegues is affiliated with a gang and is believed to frequent the Heritage Apartments on a regular basis.
No one was injured during the incident; however, police say several tenants were menaced by Pegues.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the police department or Crimestoppers anonymously at 634-STOP.
