COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- The Zonta Club of the Pikes Peak Area announces its fifth annual Glass Slipper Ball, featuring the Best of the Pikes Peak Area Chefs scheduled for Saturday, February 5th, 2011 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel from
7 p.m. until Midnight.

All proceeds support Zonta's mission of advancing the status of women through education, advocacy, and hands-on service including human trafficking awareness, prevention of violence against women and monetary awards for continuing education.

This black tie optional event will attract over 400 guests, including Colorado Springs business owners, civic leaders and elected officials who will indulge in live music from dance band "Gentle Rain," dance demonstrations, fabulous silent auction items, mystery gifts and more.

The highlight of the evening is the luscious sampling of signature hors d'oeuvres and desserts created by some of the region's best chefs who are competing for the highly coveted "People's Choice" award.

Complimentary wines will be paired with each chef's creation.

Tickets are $100 per person or $900 for a reserved table of ten.
