DENVER (AP) -- A security guard for a homeless group in Denver is accused of selling crack cocaine to homeless people in a drug rehabilitation program.

Forty-five-year-old Parrish Wright worked for eight years at the Stout Street Clinic run by the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless.

The Denver Post reports that a rehab client told staffers a few months ago that Wright was selling drugs.

Prosecutors charged Wright after he allegedly sold crack to an informant and an undercover police office, allegations first reported by the Face the State news website.

A telephone number listed for Wright has been disconnected. He faces a preliminary hearing in February.
