COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Melaina Shipwash, Miss Colorado, is getting ready to head to Las Vegas for the Miss America Pageant.

Shipwash is from Colorado Springs and visited FOX21 Morning News to tell us what she has been up to and what she expects at next month's national competition.
