DENVER (AP) -- Colorado's unemployment rate has risen to 8.6 percent.
The state Labor and Employment Office said Friday the November rate was two-tenths of a percentage point higher than the October rate.
Officials say the number of working Coloradans dropped 2,400 in November, to about 2.4 million. The number of people who were looking for a job but couldn't find one rose by 6,900, to about 230,000.
The national unemployment rate was 9.8 percent in November.
