COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Officials from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) investigated two houses in Colorado Springs that led to four arrests on weapon and drug charges Thursday morning.
The ATF got a tip from the Colorado Springs Police Department about occupants in the 800 block of East Platte Avenue possibly owning illegal firearms. ATF and SWAT crews raided two homes in the block and found what appeared to be methamphetamine dealings going on in the homes as well.
Officials arrested four men in connection with the findings.
