ASPEN, COLO. (AP) -- Aspen police say a body has been found under a bridge and it might be that of a Snowmass Village man missing since last month.
Police say an area resident found the body under Maroon Creek Bridge Monday. They say it may be 28-year-old George Aldrich, a Snowmass ski area lift operator last seen Nov. 27 getting off a bus.
A news conference is planned Tuesday morning.
Aldrich moved to Snowmass Village this fall from Rhode Island.
His family members have been in Colorado to help look for him.
The Aspen Times reports that a member of Mountain Rescue Aspen found a body under the bridge, an area previously searched. Police say Aldrich's family has been notified of the discovery.
