PUEBLO COUNTY, COLO. -- Pueblo County sheriff's deputies arrested 29-year-old Mario Hernandez-Dominguez after finding nearly $40,000 in narcotics and cash in two of his cars.

Deputies stopped Dominguez Wednesday on I-25 near 13th Street in Pueblo. The deputies got written consent to search Dominguez's car after he gave them a false name and found two ounces of methamphetamine, two ounces of suspected cocaine and $1,100 in cash.

Dominguez admitted to owning the drugs and gave deputies consent to search another car. In that search, along with a search of his home, they found an additional four ounces of cocaine and $14,000 in cash.

The total value of all drugs and cash was $37,500. The suspected narcotics tested positive as schedule II controlled substances.

Dominguez was charged with possession of both cocaine and meth with the intent to distribute, possession of cocaine and meth more than four grams and criminal impersonation.
