Wildfire burns 500 acres in Fremont Co.

FREMONT COUNTY, COLO. -- Crews bring a wildfire under control Thursday night in Fremont County that broke out in the early afternoon.

At least 500 acres were burned southeast of Florence.

At one point some structures were threatened, but fire crews have set up fire protection at those locations and said right now no structures are threatened.

The cause of the fire is unknown.
