COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- A fire broke out Friday afternoon at the Waste Connections Transfer Station on Bradley Road near Academy Boulevard on the southeast side of Colorado Springs.

The fire is burning trash and recycling at the center, where people can pay to dump waste.

Nobody was injured, but firefighters are having trouble battling the fire because no hydrants are nearby and they are having trouble getting water.

Multiple fire crews responded, and the structure has partially collapsed.
