DENVER (AP) -- Snow is still in the forecast in parts of Colorado's high country and the storm could leave up to two feet of new snow.
The National Weather Service says between 14 and 24 inches of snow could fall by Tuesday afternoon in the Gore Range and Rabbit Ears Pass. Between 8 and 15 inches are possible in the central mountains, including Vail and Aspen.
Loveland Pass and Independence Pass remain closed because of the weather.
The only two ski resorts open so far in Colorado are benefiting. Arapahoe Basin, which opened Monday, reports 8 inches of new snow.
Loveland Ski Area, which opened Sunday, has received 9 inches of new snow.
