COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Two men are recovering following a shooting late Monday night in Colorado Springs.
Police believe the shooting originally occurred at Austin Bluffs Plaza Liquor Store on Austin Bluffs Parkway near Academy Boulevard.
Officers were first called to Penrose Community Hospital where the victims had transported themselves.
They were immediately taken to Memorial Hospital.
One of the victims had a gunshot wound to the face. Investigators believe that bullet exited the first victim and struck the second in the leg.
Police said the injuries are serious but not life-threatening.
The victims are 17 and 2 years old but are not being identified at this time.
Police said details of the shooting are sketchy, but did say they have secured a search warrant for the liquor store to collect evidence.
No arrests have been made.
