COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- A Colorado Springs police officer lost control of his motorcycle and was taken to the hospital Thursday morning.
The officer crashed his motorcycle at the corner of Murray Boulevard and Airport Road, according to two separate witnesses. They said the officer was parked at the northeast corner of the intersection and attempted to pursue a truck that had run a red light, but lost control on some gravel nearby.
