COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Update:
The victim in a deadly shooting at a Colorado Springs Wal Mart® early Sunday morning has been identified.
Officials said the victim is 26-year-old Christopher Harmon, a Colorado Springs resident.
Police said Harmon was shot and killed shortly after midnight outside the Wal Mart® in the 3200 block of East Platte Avenue.
Officials said there are still a lot of unanswered questions about that night, like whether or not Harmon was targeted.
"We don't know. We don't know if its a random shooting or if the victim was a target of the shooting," Sgt. Steve Noblitt, Public Information Officer with the Colorado Springs Police Department, said.
Officials have ruled Harmon's death as a homicide.
"This will be the 17th homicide in Colorado Springs this year, and there were 17 homicides this time last year as well," Noblitt said.
Police said they are now looking for a 2006-2010 black or dark-colored Dodge Charger with tinted windows and chrome wheels.
"It was reported that this vehicle drove by as the shooting occurred, and so it's believed that the shooter was inside the vehicle," Noblitt said.
Police said they are reviewing surveillance video from the parking lot and hope to soon be able to release a better picture of the car.
"If you see this type of vehicle and they are acting suspiciously give us a call, please," Noblitt said.
Noblitt adds that everyone needs to be alert and aware of their surroundings.
"Be on the look out for suspicious acting people, suspicious vehicles in your neighborhood, or in the parking lot of a business. If you think it looks odd it probably is," Noblitt said.
Police said the investigation is ongoing.
Anyone with information about the vehicle or the shooting is asked to call police at 444-7000 or Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP.

One person was killed in a drive-by shooting at a local Wal Mart early Sunday morning.
It happened at the Wal Mart® at 3201 East Platte Avenue.
"We had witnesses report a dark-colored sedan approached from the north across the front of the building, firing several shots," Colorado Springs Police Sgt. David Edmondson said. "As they passed in front of the building, a single victim fell to the ground."
That victim, an adult while male, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said there were several witnessess, and a surveillance tape of the scene. No one else was hurt.
"Based on the time of the call, I'm going to guess it wasn't as busy as it could have been," Edmondson said. "We have only a single victim and some damage to the doors, nothing else was struck."
The Major Crimes unit is investigating. Right now there aren't any suspects.
"It did not appear to be a random act, but they are investigating that," Edmondson said.
Anyone who may have information is asked to call Crimestoppers at 634-STOP.
