COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- According to a 2009 survey, the average family of four spends between $525 to more than $1000 every month on groceries.

Linda DuVal from www.PikesPeakontheCheap.com was on FOX21 Morning News with some Daily Deals that could help you save on your next grocery bill.

1) Albertson's

If your favorite team is playing on a given Sunday and you wear a team jersey to the store when you shop, you get 10% off your total food bill.

"If you're doing a week's worth of shopping, that can add up," says DuVal. "Say you spend $150 - you'll save $15 off your total bill."

Restrictions are that your team must be playing that day (Sundays only) and you must be wearing a team jersey (not just a t-shirt or cap).

2) Entenmann's-Oroweat Bakery Outlet (3925 Interpark Dr.)

Some days you'll find a buy-one-get-one-free deal, plus for every $7 you spend you get an item from the "free rack".

"Everything is sold below grocery store prices and nothing is past the sell-by date," says DuVal.

On Fridays, everything they make is marked down 10 percent. (Active military members and their families and seniors (60 and older) always receive a 10 percent discount.)

The outlet also offers a "punch card" for extra savings.

Phone: (719) 577-0074

3) Jamba Juice

For a limited time, if you buy one Jamba Juice smoothie, you get another one FREE.

All you do is go online and print out the coupon, clip it and take it with you to your nearest Jamba store.

Good through Sept. 22.
