Juvenile suspect detained in bus stop stabbing

PALMER LAKE, COLO. -- Update:

Palmer Lake police have detained a juvenile suspected of stabbing another boy at a bus stop Tuesday.

The 12-year-old victim is recovering at the hospital from stab wounds to his neck and chin.

Police say the suspect and victim are classmates.

The victim is said to be in stable condition.

A 12-year-old boy was stabbed in the neck and chin this afternoon at a bus stop in Palmer Lake.

The Palmer Lake Police Department says another 12-year-old boy is a suspect.

The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Officials say the suspect has not been located, although his parents have been informed.
