SALIDA, Colo. (AP) -- The remains of a Colorado rafting guide are still missing nearly two months after the 23-year-old Breckenridge woman fell into the Arkansas River.

Authorities say Kimberly Appelson's body has not been found despite weeks of searching after she was thrown from a raft July 11.

Last month, the flow of the river was slowed above Salida in hopes of assisting the search.

Appelson was thrown during a treacherous stretch called the Frog Creek rapid, where least six people have died in the area since 1990.

The Summit Daily News reports that officials have exhausted their tools to try to locate Appelson's body.

A senior ranger at Arkansas Headwaters Recreation Area said search efforts included free diving and underwater cameras.
