Officers make firearms arrest

CANON CITY, COLO. -- Officers of the Freemont County Combined Investigations Response Team arrested 34-year-old John Joseph Waldron on several firearms felonies.

Police charged Waldron, a Canon City resident, with felon in possession of a weapon, possession of a machine gun and possession of a non-registered firearm.

Waldron is being held in Federal Custody pending a bond hearing in the U.S. District Court, District of Colorado.
