COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Working our your core is important to over all physical fitness and you don't need expensive equipment to give yourself a good workout.
Laura Schaelling from the YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region was on FOX21 Morning News with some ways to work your core with everyday items around your home.
For example, Schaelling used plastic or paper plates do demonstrate several exercises.
When doing the exercises demonstrated on the video, Schaelling says to try and keep your tummy tight.
