LIVERMORE, COLO. -- A 400-acre grass fire near the northern Colorado town of Livermore was about 75 percent contained late Sunday afternoon.

The Larimer County Sheriff's Office says several homes were threatened for a short time but no evacuations were ordered and no structures were damaged nor were there any injuries or road closures.

Five fire departments and two single-engine tankers fought the fire Sunday afternoon.

It was reported late Sunday morning.

There was no immediate word on the cause.

The burn area is about 15 miles northwest of Fort Collins.
