DENVER (AP) -- Six people have been indicted in Denver for allegedly playing a role in the coercion of a Colorado Springs teenager into prostitution.
Those indicted Wednesday include 19-year-old Daivean Shields, the teen's ex-boyfriend, and David Glenn Abney.
Prosecutors say last year, when the victim was 17, she went to Shields' house after being suspended from school and he told her she was going to go with Abney to Denver to make money. Chrystal Terbush then allegedly trained the victim and a 19-year-old in the ways of prostitution and advertised their services online.
Tevin Willis is accused of giving them rides to and from hotels.
Forty-four-year-old Vincent Thomas and 42-year-old John Mark Campbell are accused of responding to the ads.
