Water main project closes Murray after hours

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Murray Boulevard between Platte Avenue and Galley Road in Colorado Springs will be closed between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. every day from Aug. 9 - Sept. 9 while crews work on replacing a water main under the road.

Utilities will replace the old pipe with an eight inch PVC pipe to improve water service reliability in the area.

The city will still permit residential and business access during this time. Springs Utilities said periodic interruptions in water service may happen.
