MONTROSE, Colo. (AP) -- A body recovered from a canal in Montrose County has been identified as a radio host missing since the first of July.

Montrose County Coroner Thomas Canfield says the man was 48-year-old Rick Steele. He says Steele drowned and no foul play is suspected.

Montrose County authorities, the Colorado National Guard and area residents helped looked for Steele, last seen walking his two dogs July 1 along the canal in western Colorado.

The dogs and Steele's vehicle were found.

A sheriff's deputy found a body pressed against a grate in the canal Saturday, about 12 miles from where Steele's vehicle was found.
