Southern Colorado Idol winner Matthew Taylor

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- The winner of FOX21's Southern Colorado Idol is headed to San Francisco to audition in front of an American Idol producer in August.

Matthew Taylor was on FOX21 Morning News to talk about his musical aspirations and give viewers a sampling of his soulful talent.

Taylor is the frontman for the local band, The Taylor Project.
