USAFA welcomes new Commander of Cadets

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- The United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) welcomes a new Commandant of Cadets Friday morning.

A ceremony will be held at 9 a.m. as Brigadier General Richard M. Clark takes command.

Gen. Clark comes to the academy from Barksdale Air Force base in Louisiana where he was Vice Commander of the 8th Air Force.

Gen. Clark will command the 4,400 member cadet wing and more than 300 Air Force and civilian support personnel.
