LOUISVILLE, Colo. (AP) — State wildlife officials have tranquilized and removed a yearling male bear that was in a tree in Louisivlle.

Colorado Division of Wildlife spokeswoman Jennifer Churchill says officers received a report of a bear in a tree around 3 p.m. Tuesday. The 85-pound bear fell into a tarp after it was tranquilized.

Wildlife officials believe the bear might be the same one seen in recent weeks in neighborhoods in southeast Boulder. Churchill says the bear appears to be in good health and will be moved to a remote area.
