DENVER (AP) -- The U.S. Department of Labor says Texas De Brazil Corp. has agreed to pay $177,502 in overtime back wages to 715 former and current waiters in six states.

The department says the Dallas-based restaurant chain miscalculated workers' overtime wages. The department says the chain agreed to pay $26,979 for 119 employees in the Dallas-Fort Worth area; $22,662 for 90 employees in the Richmond-Fairfax, Va., area; $79,638 for 310 employees in Miami Beach, Miami and Orlando, Fla.; $9,563 for 64 employees in Denver; $14,574 for 42 employees in Memphis, Tenn.; and $24,086 for 90 employees in Schaumburg, Ill.

The company didn't immediately return a message Friday seeking comment.
