COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- A 3-year-old, neutered domestic short-hair cat named Phantom is looking for a home.
Stacey Candella with the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region (HSPPR) was on FOX21 Morning News Wednesday.
She said Phantom was brought in to the shelter as a stray.
"He had apparently been living outside and was fed by a woman who felt he would be safer at the humane society", says Candella. "He has quite a personality and is considered a 'Leader of the Band' in
feline-ality profile terms. That means he is very confident and wants to be around you."
Anyone wishing to adopt Phantom pays his adoption fee of $68.
Call the HSPPR at 719-473-1741 or log on to www.hsppr.org. HSPPR is located at 610 Abbott Lane in Colorado Springs.

June is Adopt A Cat Month and the shelter is launching a big cat promotion.
"We refer to it as Cat Story 3", says Candella, "obviously a take-off of the blockbuster coming out soon, Toy Story 3."
All cat adoptions in the month of June include:
* Vaccination and microchip
* A Guide for Lifelong Health
* More than $20 in coupons
Also, every Saturday is "Feline Frenzy Caturday" with two-for-one feline adoptions.
"Our goal is to adopt out 330 cats in June alone," said Candella.
