PARKER, COLO. (AP) -- A man killed in a plane crash near Granbury, Texas, was from Parker.

Texas authorities say 49-year-old Michael A. Henney died in Friday's crash about a mile north of a private airstrip.

Texas Department of Public Safety spokeswoman Lonny Haschel told the Fort Worth Star-Telegram that Henney's wife, Suzanne, was taken to a hospital in critical condition.

Federal authorities were investigating the cause of the crash of the single-engine fixed-wing Van's RV-6A.
