CASTLE ROCK, Colo. (AP) -- One of the two suspects in a shooting that wounded a Douglas County sheriff's deputy has been sentenced to 45 years in prison.

Twenty-year-old Taylor Lynn Moudy was sentenced Tuesday. He was convicted in March of two counts each of second-degree attempted murder and first-degree assault. He also was convicted of 10 counts of burglary and 18 counts of aggravated motor vehicle theft for crimes in the weeks before the shooting.

Separately, Moudy was convicted of aggravated robbery and second-degree kidnapping for his role in a store robbery.

Authorities say Moudy and Brandin Kreuzer fired at two deputies with an assault rifle during a high-speed chase June 28, 2008. One deputy was shot in the arm.

Kreuzer hasn't been tried yet.
