ASPEN, Colo. (AP) — Wildlife officials have relocated a yearling black bear that was trapped near a home in the Aspen area. Colorado Division of Wildlife spokesman Randy Hampton says the bear was caught and tagged Saturday. It was moved to Buena Vista. The Aspen Police Department has had about 70 calls this year regarding bears, including trash intrusions and general sightings. Wildlife officers and law enforcement authorities killed 20 bears in the Aspen area last year after various conflicts with humans. In September, a 69-year-old man was attacked in his home after a bear entered through the front door. He had superficial wounds to his face. Wildlife officers trapped the bear and killed it.
