Teller County to host low-cost animal clinic

TELLER COUNTY, COLO. -- Teller County Sheriff’s Office Animal Control Unit will participate in low-cost rabies and vaccination clinics in Teller County next weekend.

This event takes places Saturday, May 22 and Sunday, May 23 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Hayden Park in Divide. The park is at Hybrook South Road, west of the sheriff's office.

The clinic is open to small and large animals and other vaccinations will be available upon request at a low cost. 

The Teller County Regional Animal Shelter will attend to issues licenses, and the Pet Food Pantry will accept donations for all types of pets. 

Micro-chipping and name tags will be available on site at the clinic. 

Division of Wildlife staff also will attend to answer questions regarding bear awareness.
