Service restored, road re-opened after water main break

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- All lanes of Murray Boulevard and Palmer Park Boulevard are re-opened this morning after a water main break on Sunday forces street closures and disrupts service to area customers.

The break in the 8-inch water main washed away about 200 feet of Murray Boulevard, but road crews had it fixed late Sunday night.

Colorado Springs Utilities crews restored water service was restored to area residents as of 3:30 p.m. on Sunday.
