LIMON, Colo. (AP) -- Limon police say a 14-year-old boy is in juvenile detention after his 13-year-old friend received a gunshot wound to his head while the pair played with a weapon.
Limon police say the injured teen is being treated at Swedish Medical Center and a spokeswoman there says he is in the intensive care unit. Police say he was wounded last Friday night at a Limon home after the gun they were playing with went off.
Police say neither boy lives at the home where the shooting happened but that the house they were at was where they got the gun.
The 14-year-old is being held on $150,000 bail at a juvenile detention center in Englewood. Prosecutors are discussing whether to file charges.
