COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — Former megachurch pastor Ted Haggard and his wife have incorporated a new church that shares an address with their home in Colorado Springs.

Haggard told The Gazette on Tuesday that St. James Church was incorporated for accounting purposes, as the couple give paid talks around the country, but he also predicted that "sometime, somewhere" they would do some type of ministry.

New Life Church, which Haggard founded, had about 14,000 followers when he resigned in 2006 after a man said Haggard had paid him for sex for more than three years.

Last year the Haggards hosted two prayer meetings that drew more than 100 people to their home. Haggard says he'd have to rent space to accommodate everyone but isn't ready for that.
