Colorado Rep. Coffman to seek re-election

HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. (AP) — U.S. Rep. Mike Coffman, a Republican who represents parts of the south-Denver suburbs, plans to seek a second term.

Coffman announced Monday that he will seek re-election to the 6th Congressional District, a GOP stronghold.

Coffman, a former state treasurer and legislator, is a member of the House Armed Services Committee, Committee on Natural Resources and the House Committee on Small Business.
