Polis named to House Judiciary Committee

DENVER (AP) -- Colorado congressman Jared Polis has been appointed to fill one of two vacancies on the House Judiciary Committee.

Polis said in a news release Wednesday he will keep his seats on the Rules, Education and Labor Committee and the Democratic Steering Committee.

Polis, a Democrat, is in his first term.
