Father sentenced to 35 years for baby boy's death

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Bryan Dingman, 25, was Monday sentenced to 35 years in prison in the January 2009 death of his baby boy.

Via a telephone call, the baby's mother asked the court to sentence him to the maxmimum of 40 years.

Dingman's attorney said Dingman was "very remorseful and takes full blame" in the death of the infant.
