COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — Colorado Springs authorities say a former Fort Carson soldier was fatally shot during a fight with two teenagers while the three were going to buy marijuana. Authorities say in an arrest affidavit released Thursday that former Army soldier Joshua Fields was in a car with the teenagers when the fighting began April 23. Eighteen-year-old Carlos Olguin is being held without bail and faces a first-degree murder charge. His 17-year-old cousin was also arrested but his name is not being released because he is a juvenile. Authorities say the teenagers had stab wounds when investigators contacted them near the scene of the shooting. Fields was discharged from the Army in March but no other information about his military background was available. (Copyright 2010 The Associated Press. All Rights Reserved.)
